Located in a private estate this home was in need of complete refurbishment and extension to meet the needs of the new family owners.

 

Set in the most fabulous grounds and gardens the house had no connection with the outside.

 

The houses on the estate were subject to strict restrictions on any form of change or extension to retain the character of the estate.

 

The project included side extension that were completely in keeping with the existing, the new rear extension explored the character of the original but evolved the design language to be more conducive to contemporary family life and better connected to the garden.

 

The project included:

 

relocated feature open-riser stair, open-plan kitchen dining space, dual colour bi-fold doors, exposed internal brickwork, smart home controls, bespoke joinery, lighting design.
